Online shop “Linen Fashion” was created by J.S.C “Siūlas”, one of the oldest flax mills in Lithuania. It was founded in 1928 and is located in the very north of Lithuania, in the beautiful Astravas suburb just outside Biržai. Since its start, “Siūlas” has always been in linen business. As of now, 300 people, who are mainly from our native town Biržai, are working in the company. Every year since 1993 we’ve been participating in the Heimtextil Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, and since 2001, twice a year, in the Premiere Vision in Paris, France. The whole production process happens in the same factory. Having all stages completed in one place allows us to control the quality and avoid mistakes. Company is vertically integrated, which means that our production process includes six stages:
We are well known for our linen fabric manufacturing techniques. 95% of our fabrics are made from dyed yarns – we can achieve a better quality this way. We sell our products to more than 25 countries around the world; our biggest markets are: USA, Japan, Belgium, France, Germany, Scandinavian countries and United Kingdom.
We produce the following linen items:
Linen fabrics: 100% linen or 52% linen 48 % cotton; washed linen fabrics.
Table linen: tablecloths; napkins; runners; placemats.
Kitchen linen: aprons; kitchen & tea towels; gloves; potholders; bread baskets.
Linen clothes: for men and women: jackets; dresses; tunics; blouses; skirts; pants; shirts; shawls; scarves.
Kids’ linen: clothes; clothes for christening; bathrobes; aprons; bed linen; hooded towels; baby sleeping bags.
Bath and sauna: bathrobes; towels.
Bed linen: pillowcases; duvet covers; bed sheets; blankets.
Linen curtains: for day and night.
In 2006 we decided that our production should be easily accessible to everyone from all over the world, so we created an online shop and called it “Linen Fashion”. A lot of work has been done since then, and now it’s one of the biggest e-shops where you can find products made from linen. And it’s still only a small part of what we produce. If you can’t find what you are looking for, just write to us and we will try to help you.
Linen is the way of living, thinking and understanding the natural beauty. Our everyday work is all about linen.
