This means that flowers, leaves, checks and other shapes are made directly from the yarns.

Fabric, Weight and Sizes

Most jacquard napkins in our collection are made from a blend of 52% linen and 48% cotton.

Linen gives the fabric its natural texture and character, while cotton adds softness and makes the napkins comfortable for regular use.

Most of our jacquard fabrics weigh around 195–210 g/m². This gives the napkins enough structure to show the woven pattern clearly, while still making them easy to fold.

Some designs use a slightly different fibre composition. For example, selected ATLANTA napkins include metallic-effect yarn, which adds a soft shimmer to the fabric.

The available sizes depend on the design. You can find both square and rectangular jacquard napkins in the collection.

Different Jacquard Patterns

That is why jacquard napkins can look very different from one another.

Do not use chlorine bleach.

Air drying is a good choice when possible.

If you prefer a neat and crisp look, iron the napkins while they are still slightly damp or use a steam iron.

You can also leave them with a more natural texture if you prefer a relaxed linen look.

With regular washing and use, linen-containing fabrics usually become softer over time.

 

Woven and Made in Lithuania

Our jacquard napkins are made in Lithuania by AB “Siūlas”, a textile manufacturer based in Biržai.

The company has been working with linen since 1928.

The jacquard fabric is woven in our factory and then made into finished table linen, including napkins, tablecloths, runners and placemats.

Because we produce the fabric ourselves, many of the same jacquard designs are available in different table linen products.

This makes it easy to create a matching table setting using products made from the same fabric.
