Our plain solid colour napkins are not one standard product repeated in different colours. The collection includes several linen fabrics, weights, finishes and edge treatments, all without printed or decorative woven patterns.

Depending on the design, current sizes in this collection include 24 × 24 cm, 31 × 31 cm, 33 × 33 cm, 34 × 34 cm, 42 × 42 cm, 44 × 44 cm, 45 × 45 cm and 47 × 47 cm. Smaller sizes work well for light meals, drinks and informal table settings, while the larger formats are better suited to dinner tables and more formal place settings.

100% Linen, Plain Weave and Washed Finishes

Many napkins in this group are made from 100% linen in a plain weave. The individual fabrics are not identical: some are lighter and softer, while others have more body and structure.

For example, selected products in this collection use fabrics around 200–210 g/m², while heavier washed linen options can reach approximately 265 g/m². Some designs are specially washed after weaving, giving the linen a softer hand and a more relaxed surface from the beginning.

This variation is useful when choosing napkins for different table styles. A lighter or softly washed linen gives a relaxed everyday look, while a heavier fabric and a precise hemstitch create a more structured presentation.

Hemstitch, Fringe and Babylock Edges

“Plain” refers to the solid-colour fabric, not necessarily to the edge finish. Within this collection you can find several ways of finishing the napkin.

Some designs use a traditional hemstitch, others a simple hem, a narrow babylock edge or a soft fringed finish. These details change the character of the napkin without adding a printed or woven pattern to the fabric.

The fabrics used for these napkins are woven in our factory and then cut and sewn into finished table linen. Because we work directly with our own fabrics, many colours and constructions used for napkins can also appear in matching tablecloths, runners or placemats.
