Lurex Napkins: Metallic Detail Woven into the Fabric
The shine in these napkins comes from metallic-effect yarns woven into the textile, not from a surface print. This gives the fabric a more integrated and refined appearance.
Different designs use different constructions. For example, DONNA combines cotton, linen and PES in a plain weave at about 140 g/m², while ATLANTA uses a linen-cotton-PES blend in a jacquard construction at about 180 g/m².
Sizes and Table Uses
Current Lurex napkin sizes include 15 × 15 cm, 20 × 20 cm, 31 × 31 cm, 34 × 34 cm, 38 × 48 cm, 44 × 44 cm and 47 × 47 cm, depending on the design.
The smaller formats work well for drinks, desserts and decorative place settings, while the larger square and rectangular sizes are better suited to dinner tables and festive occasions.

These napkins are woven and sewn in Lithuania by AB “Siūlas” in Biržai. The company has been working with linen since 1928.
