Hemstitched Tablecloths: Compare the Border Construction
LUNA and AIRA combine hemstitching with a 4 cm folded border. NARA uses a simple hem with hemstitching positioned 4 cm from the edge, giving a different construction in washed pure linen. TANGO adds a small openwork dobby pattern, while KOMA uses twill. NORA and VEILA combine lace with two rows of hemstitching, offering a more decorative border.
Composition, Weight and Finishing
The fabrics range from 150 g/m² to approximately 265 g/m², with 160, 200 and 210 g/m² options also represented. LUNA is 52% linen / 48% cotton; pure linen designs include AIRA, TANGO, NARA, NORA and VEILA. Hemstitch identifies the decorative stitch treatment, not one standard fibre blend, weave or fabric weight.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is every hemstitched border 4 cm wide?
No. A 4 cm folded border and hemstitching placed 4 cm from an edge are different constructions. Lace-bordered products have their own specifications, including VEILA’s 9 cm lace border.
